Biography: 

As a senior student, And Kaan Ata Yilmaz is currently pursuing his B.S. Degree in both Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mathematics at Bogazici University. He spent one semester as an exchange student at University of Texas at Austin. Optics and photonics started intriguing him so early that in 2015, he was accepted to participate in Quantum Cryptography School for Young Students (QCSYS) held by Institute of Quantum Computing (IQC) at University of Waterloo, Canada. His current interest area is Physical Layer Security in Optical Networks.
